Ringgenberg Castle Ruins, Switzerland. Day 3/9. 25 Aug to 2 Sep 2022.

27 Aug 2022. Saturday. 22 to 27 degrees celsius. A hot sunny day.
Ringgenberg Church, where the castle ruins is located annex to it.
A beautiful place and no entrance fee is required. Highly recommended when one is looking for a quiet place to explore and out of the normal tourist itinerary.
Ringgenberg Castle Ruins is located behind the church.
From Ringgenberg ferry point, we walk up a upslope trail to reach here.

Ringgenberg Castle Ruins is located a steps away from Ringgenberg Ferry Point and Hotel Brienzersee, the place we stay. Found this place while trying to look for places to explore in Ringgenberg village while we stayed here for 3 nights.

The flight of stairs we need to climb to access to Ringgenberg Castle Ruins.

Breathtaking lake view while we climb up the stairs.

View of Lake Brienz from the castle.

Ringgenberg Castle Ruins.
It looked newly restored. Beautiful walls and very clean environment.
The best thing is, we were the only tourist exploring this place.
We have a good time taking family pictures with such a beautiful backdrop.
Metal strips stairs were constructed for visitors to climb up to the top of castle to enjoy the view of Lake Brienz and Ringgenberg village.

A view of Ringgenberg town/village. So pretty correct?

Here is the Ringgenberg Castle Ruins video. Hope you enjoy the tour around the castle.

In summary,
We love this place. Quiet and scenic, walls beautifully restored with a viewing deck.
Highly recommended.
