171016 Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Ohori Park

It was raining on our day 2 in Fukuoka. So, we cannot take anymore chances. Luckily, the rain was just those drizzle. So we went ahead to visit Fukuoka Castle Ruins and Ohori park.

Walk towards the viewing tower. You can see the skyline. Nice!!!


Too bad, too early for autum leave. Gingko tree leaves is only halfway to its yellow.
Lucky that we visit before Autum. I can see Gingko fruit and its seeds. Otherwise, I will not know how gingko fruits look like.

Ohori park is just located next to Fukuoka Castle. It is just like our Chinese Gardens. Only difference, the weather.
With Starbucks located just infront of the lake. You can sit and view the lake. Very relaxing.

Taipei Day 2 - 10 August 2017 1. Carrefour at Ximending 2. Ah Zhong Mian Xian near Pacific Sogo 太平洋SOGO 忠孝館 3. ATT 4Fun shopping Mall Our 1st day waking up in Taipei, feeling very excited to try whatever we already have in mind in Taipei.  1. Carrefour at Ximending Decided to visit this place as the Top priority as I just love grocery shopping when I am in another country. I love looking at what supermarket sell. Most of the time, I can find fresh fruits and alot of refreshment that we cannot find here. If not, just compare the prices and I can be very happy. You can say I "xiao". But thats me. Following the hint of another blogger, I took exit 1 at Ximending MRT station. Then used the google map to guide me walk there. Its about 10 to 15mins walk. Walking Trail - MacRitchie Reservoir

171202 - This time we walk around the whole reservoir. I guess it is about 11km. Took 4 hours to finish the whole course. Walk around the whole reservoir. Start from Venus Drive, go southwards to MacRitchie Reservoir, continued westward via Lornie Trail, then northwest to Golf Link, east to Sime Track and back to Venus Carpark. We took 4 hours. Feel so good. Spotted durian trees with lots of durian at Drongo Trail. One guy told us he climb and flip over the waist high fence from the boardwalk to check on the top right fruit but realised it has been eaten by some animals. After Drongo Trail, head southwards via MacRiche Nature Trail. You see such scenery until...... Joggers from school running fast n asking ppl to give way to them. That really spoil our peace n slowed down our walk. So it would be better to walk around 4pm if we like to explore this trail. About 1.5 hour time, we reach MacRitchie Reservoir Park.
