171015-18 Fukuoka, Must Eat, Must buy
We love Japan because we love the food. Food cannot be bought in our own country. So if there is a chance, we will go there and eat our hearts out. Here are the things we ate and how we felt. The things we bought and why. The top of my list is Matsunoya Tonkastu. Affordable pork cutlet at less thatn S$10 per set. The texture we cannot find over here. The meat just sink into your teeth. The breaded coating is soo fluffy and crunchy. So far, I only can match the Suntec restaurant with this standard. However if we eat in restaurant, it will cost 2 or 3 times the price. We found this shop at Tenjin, near to AEON Tenjin. The 1st time I have this was at Tokyo, Ikebukuro. Purposely come here for my 2nd fix. It may cost more dining in sushi restaurant. But who cares. In Singapore, Scallop cost $4 per piece. In Fukuoka, only 370yen for 2 big piece. We spent only about $50 over dollars for plenty of fatty tuna and scallops with fishes that were fresh. Definately our 1st choice for
