Sharing my trip to Switzerland. An enjoyable trip after 2 years of non travelling. To me, travelling is another kind of learning journey. Learning journey comes in 2 phases. 1. Theory -  When planning the itinerary and searching for information of the country. 2. Praticum - When travel takes place. The real learning journey takes place. From snowy mountain top, lakes, waterfall and a date with the clouds in Switzerland. Sharing our learning journey in switzerland during summer.  1.  Switzerland 25 Aug to 2 Sep 2022 - Getting to know Switzerland's train as a tourist. Our main transportation for the whole trip was done via train. Having bought the train pass was a correct decision. On our trip, we learnt so many things about the train there.  2 Sep 2022. Friday.  Morning was quite cool. All of us need a jacket to keep us warm. Autumn has finally arrived with such nice weather, but we need to leave today.  Our Swiss Travel pass for 8 days has expired on 1 Sep 2022. So, we need to pay for the train ticket to Zurich Airport. In Switzerland, we need to purchase tickets from these ticketing kiosk before we board the train. There will be no payment on board these train. While getting the tickets for our train back to Zurich Airport, we realised we need to specify the time of the train we wanted to take. So we need to check the SBB App on which train we wanted to take, then apply on it. So inconvenient. Daughter #1 cannot resist these temptation at the airport. Since we were lactose intolerance, these were good find for us and taste so good. Less then CHF3 per bottle. It came with a cookie on top of the cap too. So cheap. While cheking in, SQ airport staff told me that there is a cafe with a beautiful view of the runway near our

1 Sep 2022. Thursday. Weather was warm, not that hot. Autumn has arrived. We felt the difference from 1st Sep. Our 9th day will be spent in the airport catching our flight home. So this was our last day of travel in Switzerland. Chapel Bridge. I actually wanted to exclude this place in my itinerary due to our packed schedule. Since we need to make a train transfer at Lucerne on our way back to Zurich from Stanserhorn, we decided to do a short visit here. To get to the Chapel bridge was easy. Cross the street from Lucerne train station, we will see the river with the bridge decorated with pretty flowers. Chapel Bridge view. I did a check with Wikipedia as I was wondering why is this place so popular. Quote from Wiki "The Chapel Bridge is a covered wooden footbridge spanning the river Reuss diagonally in the city of Lucerne in central Switzerland. Named after the nearby St. Peter's Chapel, it is unique in containing a number of interior paintings dating back to the 17th century,

Stanserhorn, Switzerland. Day 8/9. 25 Aug to 2 Sep 2022.

1 Sep 2022. Thursday.  Weather forecast for Stanserhorn, 12 to 14 degrees celsius. Unlike other days, we felt cool today.  Lots of clouds passing us while we were hiking at the Stanserhorn mountain. We have to put on our sweater to keep us warm. When the sun came out of the clouds, we felt warm but felt nothing like what we experienced in Iseltwald or Grindelwald where our skin was sunburnt. An attraction that I searched to make full use of our Swiss Travel Pass since we paid so much for it. It was the   CABRIO CABLEWAY , the roofless cable car that attracted me. The Stanserhorn is a mountain in Switzerland, located about 1 hour away from Lucerne, with the peak at 1,898 metres (6,227 ft) above sea level. The Swiss Travel Pass covers all transportation cost including funicular and cable car ride all the way to the mountain top. It took less than 2 hours to reach Stancerhorn from Zurich. We took a train to Lucerne, transfer to another train to Stans train station. From Stan train Staion,
