From Berlayer Creek, I continued my walk towards Bukit Chermin Boardwalk.  Bukit Chermin Boardwalk - from Berlayer Creek. Weather was sunny, but I feel cool due to the sea breeze. The view of the Berlayer Creek's river. We can view Sentosa from the boardwalk too. At high tide, the water is so clear and beautiful. The boardwalk ends at Reflections at Kepple Bay. Is this Singapore? I turned back towards Berlayer Creek after Reflections at Kepple Bay. This is another view towards Labrador. Kepple Club - View from Bukit Chermin Boardwalk. Kepple Club will be moving out by end of this year. So this gonna be history and is good to keep a picture of it. Overall it is a good place to visit when the weather is good. I think it is best to visit during sunset. However in Singapore, there is always a tendency of thunder storm in the late afternoon. So better check the weather map before visit.   Since my trip on 15th Mar was met with heavy downpour, I decided to visit this place again to fullfill my curiosity of this place. Weather was sunny on the day I visited. It was high hide too. So the water was so clear with a tint of blue. Beautiful!!! I do realised the river is also filled with mangrove trees. There were 2 viewing deck within the boardwalk. We are able to take a break here to enjoy nature above waters. With no dark clouds or thunder, I was able to enjoy the view. No wildlife spotted on the way towards Labrador park.  Lucky me, with the high tide, I was able to enjoy the clear waters. Even able to peep through the mangrove - Sea Scent at Keppel Club. Since the weather is good, I continued walking towards Bukit Chermin Boarwalk. Do check out my post on Part 3. The Red Beacon. From Bukit Chermin Boardwark, I continued my walk towards the southernmost end of Labrador Park and this structure sits at the corner here. According to www.roots.gov.sg, the iconic seven-metre t

A mangrove boardwalk just steps away from Labrador MRT. If you wants explore a mangrove boardwalk with easy access from MRT, this is the place. It is just behind the MRT station.  I have never visited this place in my whole life before and wow, why have I not know it earlier!!! The mangrove river during high tide. You will love its beauty of clear water. It is fun to see the different tide level of a mangrove river.    Mangrove river during low tide. If you are lucky, you can spot crabs, but I did not spot any during my trip there. Sometimes, there will be a muddy "mangrove" smell when the tide is low. Mangrove river during raining season. Yes the water becomes muddy and not beautiful. I still love it cause it gives you a change of its "season". in SG, we do not have 4 seasons. But the mangrove river has its 3 seasons. Am I correct? Honestly, even when you are a Singaporean, you will also walk towards the wrong direction because there isn't a signage showing Ber

Weather forecast: Thundery shower in the late afternoon. Bridge Active SG Park towards the southern promenade. Not knowing where to go, we decided to visit JLG today again. Just a short walk into the southern promenade, we saw a Javan Pond-Heron in the open. I thought it is a Indian Heron. After checking out, realised I found my #20 lifer list in year 2022. After 3 clicks, it noticed me and flew away showing me its white wings. The birders may be chasing after the star bird in Pasir Ris. So the park is very quiet today. I heard the sound of the tailor bird and started chasing after it. It is the common tailor bird. I find this one unusual cause the black mark at the collar is very distinct. Almost mistaken as Dark-necked Tailorbird. We love Neram Stream.  The owls were not there today, so we track along Neram stream to the Oval and grasslands. Weather is dry and very hot. So the stream are clear with plenty of guppies. Checked out the barbet nesting. Nothing good from our photography
